About me
Welcome! I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at INAF–Osservatorio Astronomico di Brera (Merate, Italy), working in collaboration with Dr. Gabriele Ponti. My research focuses on the X-ray source populations within the Milky Way, especially accreting binaries in the globular clusters and the Galactic center.
I earned my Ph.D. (2019–2024) and B.S. (2015-2019) from Nanjing University, supervised by Prof. Zhiyuan Li. My work primarily investigates the periodic variations of X-ray sources, including X-ray binaries (XRBs) and cataclysmic variables (CVs). By using periodicity as a tracer, I explore how dense cluster environments influence the formation and evolution of close binaries. Ultimately, I aim to uncover the origins of nuclear star clusters and their dynamical links to globular clusters.
Beyond stellar-scale populations, I study time-variable phenomena in active galactic nuclei (AGN), such as quasi-periodic oscillations (QPOs) and eruptions. I am also deeply interested in developing data-intensive methods for time-domain astrophysics.
